๐Ÿงช DIY Probiotics for Gamefowl (Fermented Rice Water Method)

๐Ÿง‚ Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked rice

  • 2 cups clean, chlorine-free water (filtered or boiled & cooled)

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or molasses (optional – helps fermentation)

  • 1 small piece of ripe banana peel or a handful of raw leafy greens (optional – good bacteria source)

  • A clean container with a loose lid (like a mason jar or plastic bottle)

๐Ÿฅฃ Instructions:

✅ Step 1: Make Rice Wash

  • Wash the rice lightly with the water (don’t throw the water!).

  • You want the milky-white water after mixing it up for about 1–2 minutes.

✅ Step 2: Transfer to Container

  • Pour the rice wash water into your clean container.

  • Add banana peel or a few raw greens (this introduces good bacteria).

  • Add sugar or molasses (optional, but speeds up fermentation).

✅ Step 3: Cover and Ferment

  • Cover the container with a loose lid or cloth with a rubber band (needs to breathe).

  • Store in a warm, dark place (like a cabinet or corner) for 2–3 days.

⏳ You’ll know it’s ready when:

  • It smells slightly sour (like yogurt or fermented fruit).

  • There are bubbles or a little fizz—that's the good bacteria working!

๐Ÿงด How to Use:

  • Dosage: 10–20 ml per liter of drinking water

  • Frequency: 2–3x a week, or daily during conditioning or recovery

  • Storage: Keep refrigerated up to 1–2 weeks. Shake before using.
